All payment data is collected directly by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and is subject to their privacy policies. We do not store or retain raw credit card numbers on our servers.
- Technical, Behavioral, & Analytics Data: When visiting our website, we utilize a self-hosted, open-source marketing automation engine (Mautic) to track individual user navigation, pages viewed, resource downloads, and interaction with our marketing emails. This tracking includes collecting your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, cookies, and behavioral logs to help us tailor our sales communications.

- No Access to Application Data: RemoteRails builds and deploys single-tenant and cloud-hosted application stacks (including Nextcloud, Matrix, and VaultWarden). We do not host your application data on our own infrastructure.
- Cryptographic Separation: We do not have access to your end-to-end encrypted chats, master passwords, or credential vaults. Following the completion of your deployment, we maintain zero visibility into your data layer.
IV. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or lease customer data to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to execute our services:
- Payment Processors: Transaction data is shared securely with Stripe to complete billing.
- Infrastructure Partners: If you request that we provision dedicated hardware on your behalf, minimal corporate identity data may be shared with upstream data centers (e.g., OVH, Hetzner) to establish your account.

- Retention: We retain your business contract and billing data for as long as required by tax law and accounting regulations. Technical configurations and deployment notes are securely destroyed or archived following contract termination – upon written request.
